„ ...like zooming into a piece of fractal art, the listener gets deeper and deeper into the tracks which include soft pieces of chaotic elements being more or less sussed out. listening more intently and analytically, the mind starts recognizing each sound being distinct from the other ones such as in "garden of apples", and when it begins putting the pieces back together again, it surprisingly finds that none of these tracks sounds exactly the same way the others did... “

„ The DVD features music that can be described as dub-inspired, ambient, rhythmic, tech-house, electro and occasionally hypnotic or spellbinding. As for visuals, an original unifying concept guided VJs as they produced each of the video clips: the presence of the same dancer/actor throughout, the use of a specific color, and a series of keywords. Based on these keywords, Montreal poet and linguist Dessavage created subtitles. A rarity, the subtitle options are in fact a complementary artwork set in relation to the DVD’s audiovisual content... “

„Coming across an ep this distinctive is truly refreshing, when so much digital dub sounds interchangeable. the sounds used here are an inviting mix of sampled piano, bright synths and dusty noise, assembled into slowly shifting patterns. the rich quality of the textures and slightly off-kilter rhythms reminded me a little of the fantastic kompakt producer dettinger, but this music is truly lufth′s own. while he also has many releases on thinner as digitalverein i must confess that these tracks, where he ditches the doof doof of minimal techno, are far and away my favourites...“ - michael upton / igloomag

„ ...liegt einfach daran, dass „internal course“ selbst auf schusters kontinuierlich hohem niveau außergewöhnlich ist. der gute mann ist uns als dub-gewissen des ruhrpotts unter anderem durch sein eher house-orientiertes sensual physics-projekt und seine scape-würdigen lufth-tracks bekannt. auf thinner wirkt er jedoch als digitalverein und hat dort im letzten jahr mit zu hause² bereits eine wahre perle herausgebracht. dieses mal gibt es einige tracks, die genau da ansetzen, wo zu hause² aufhörte. im detail, dass schuster zum monument heranwachsen lassen. doch mit tracks wie „face the horizon“ bricht er überraschend aus dem schon zum trademark gewordenen sound aus, und gibt ihm mit vocals und...“ - janko roettgers / de:bug
